Terms of use

1. What the service is

UAE Sports Hub is a guide to sports events: races, rides, tournaments and championships in the United Arab Emirates, and selected international race series. We list events, link to the organisers' official pages, and let you save events, get reminders and see published results.

We do not organise the events listed, we do not sell entries or tickets, and we do not take payments. Registration always happens on the organiser's or registration company's own website, under their terms.

2. Event information may be wrong or out of date

Most event information is collected automatically from public sources and is checked only in part. Dates, start times, venues, prices, distances, deadlines, and “sold out” or “cancelled” labels can be incomplete, late or mistaken, and organisers change their plans.

Always confirm the details on the organiser's official page before you pay, travel or make plans. A “verified” mark means the listing passed our checks against its sources; it is not a guarantee.

3. Your account

• Give accurate details, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done through your account.
• An account is for one person. Do not create accounts for other people or by automated means.
• If you are under 18, use the site with a parent's or guardian's permission.
• You can ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or is used to harm the site or other people.

4. What you add to the site

You may add a profile, submit event links, claim race results as yours and, if you are an organiser, send updates to your events. You keep the rights in what you add. You allow us to store it, display it on the site and use it to run the service.

Only add material you are entitled to share, and nothing that is unlawful, misleading, abusive or that infringes someone else's rights. Claim only results that are yours. We may edit or remove anything that breaks these rules.

5. Organisers

Organisers can ask for access to manage their own events. We may ask for proof that you represent the organisation, and we may review, hold or decline changes. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish through the organiser tools.

If your event is listed and something is wrong, or you want it removed, write to us.

6. Fair use of the site

• Do not copy the listings in bulk, or collect them by automated means, without our written permission or a key for our events API (section 10). Ordinary personal use, sharing links to events, and search-engine indexing are welcome.
• Do not try to get round security or rate limits, disrupt the site, or access other people's accounts.
• Do not pretend to be another person or organisation.
• Do not use the site to send spam or to collect other users' information.

7. Results and leaderboards

Results are shown as published by organisers and timing companies and may contain their errors. They are for information only; the organiser's own results are the official record. To have a result corrected or removed, write to us.

8. Reminders and notifications

Reminders, deadline alerts and change notices are sent on a best-effort basis and can be late or fail to arrive. Do not rely on them alone for registration deadlines or start times.

9. Names, logos and our content

The design of the site, its software and the way listings are compiled belong to UAE Sports Hub. You may not reproduce them beyond what these terms allow.

Event names, logos and photographs belong to their owners and are shown to identify the events. Series names such as IRONMAN, T100 and Challenge Family are trademarks of their respective owners. UAE Sports Hub is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by those organisations unless a listing says so.

10. Using our events on your website or app

You may place our event-finder chat on your own website, free of charge, using the code we publish, without changing it or suggesting that we endorse you. We may change or withdraw it at any time.

Partners to whom we have given a key may read our event listings through the events API, to show them in their own calendar, website or app. If you do, you must show “Powered by UAE Sports Hub” with a link to our site wherever the events appear and link each event to its page here; keep your key private; not sell the data, pass it on to others, or use it to build a competing events listing; and tell your users that details can change and should be checked with the organiser. We may limit use, change the API, or switch off a key at any time.

11. Links to other websites

The site links to websites we do not control, including registration pages. We are not responsible for their content, availability, prices or the way they handle your information.

12. The coaching app and its coaches

Training plans, workouts, readiness scores and heat and fuelling guidance in the coaching app are general information to help you train, not medical advice, and do not replace a doctor or other qualified professional. Check with a doctor before starting or changing a training programme, especially if you have a health condition, are pregnant or are returning from injury, and stop and get help if you feel unwell while training.

Coaches in our coaching app (USH Coaching) are independent: they are not UAE Sports Hub staff, and the coaching advice they give is their own responsibility. We approve coaches before they can invite athletes, but we do not supervise their coaching or guarantee their advice. Any arrangement about coaching, including payment, is between you and your coach.

If you coach in the app, you may coach only athletes who accepted your invitation, use what they share with you only to coach them, and keep it private. We may pause or remove a coach who does not follow these terms.

13. Our responsibility to you

The site is provided as it is, free of charge, and we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or cost that results from relying on event information, from an event being changed, postponed, sold out or cancelled, from a notification that did not arrive, or from your dealings with organisers, coaches and other websites. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Changes

We may change the site and these terms. When the terms change we will update this page and its date; if you keep using the site after that, the new terms apply.

15. Law and language

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. The terms are published in English and Arabic; if the two differ, the English text applies unless the law of the United Arab Emirates requires otherwise.
