The 3.8km swim of the IRONMAN Viet Nam will feature a rolling start at East Sea Park, following a triangle-shaped swim course going clockwise, with two red buoys marking the two turning points. The ride starts at East Sea Park, where participants launch onto the stunning Vo Nguyen Giap – Hoang Sa coastline. Cyclists then turn inward to trace an expansive 11km stretch along the eastern bank of the Han River, a breathtaking highlight of the course that offers postcard-perfect views of Da Nang's iconic skyline and vibrant waterfront. The journey extends into Quang Nam, where cyclists tackle a 16.5km straightaway along Lac Long Quan Road. Starting from the beautiful East Sea Park, runners head out on Vo Nguyen Giap Road, running parallel to the pristine beach with ocean views throughout. Each 10.5km loop features a simple out-and-back route to the turnaround point at the 5.9km mark, allowing athletes to settle into their rhythm while enjoying the coastal scenery. The familiar course layout helps runners focus on their pacing and performance as they complete each loop.
