Experience IRONMAN Penghu: a 3.8 km swim in Penghu's waters, a 180 km bike ride across the Penghu Great Bridge, and a 42.2 km run through famous tourist spots.

The swim leg consists of two counter-clockwise laps, out and back in the shape of a triangle. After finishing the first lap, athletes will go ashore and enter the sea again for the second lap.Bike course
Begin your journey on Route 201 and then enter route 204 and pedal along you will find the first aid station at Guoye Elementary School. Ride past Husi Junior High School, enter route 11 and 12, then the long route 203, on which you will be crossing the Penghu Great Bridge and doing 3 loops between turnaround point A and B. The turnaround point B, located at Xiyu West Fort Parking, is also where the special needs station is, so grab a special needs bag there if you need one. Reach Tianjun Temple, and the T2 is just a couple of turns away. You will be passing the aid stations 10 times in total on the bike course, so make sure you plan your fuel-up out before the race. The 42.2km run course takes the athletes through local famous tourist spots such as: Guanyinting Recreation Area, Xiying Rainbow Bridge, the world's tallest bronze Matsu statue, and the best hotels in the downtown city Sheraton and Discovery hotel. After exiting T2, turn right onto Tonghe Road and start the run course. You are required to complete A to B for 2 laps and C to H for 2 laps, collecting 4 lap bands before entering the finish line and earn the title of IRONMAN.
