Experience IRONMAN Hamburg: a 3.8 km swim through the Alster, a 178 km bike ride past famous sights like the Reeperbahn, and a 42.2 km run along the Alster.

The event proudly hosts the IRONMAN European Championship for PRO female athletes. Please note: Current course maps are from the previous edition. The 2027 maps will be available soon. The one lap ROKA swim course provides a first impression of this phenomenal race in Hamburg. The start is located very representatively in the very heart of Hamburg at the Jungfernstieg, framed by some of the most impressive buildings the city has to offer, and leads through the Inner and Outer Alster. The course cannot be swum outside of the event. Maps may be changing leading up to the event.Bike course
The bike course features two loops, starting in Hamburg’s city center and passing iconic landmarks such as the Landungsbrücken, fish market, and UNESCO‑listed Speicherstadt, before heading into the scenic Vier‑ und Marschlande. Athletes will go along the dyke, before completing a short loop through the Kirchwerder Wiesen Nature Reserve and then heading back via the dyke into the city centre to begin their second loop, or enter T2. Parts of the course cannot be accessed by bike outside of the event. Maps may be changing leading up to the event.Run course
The four-loop SALOMON run course is the crowning finale with an incomparable atmosphere in downtown Hamburg. The course is packed with countless spectators and leads along the western bank of the Alster and through Hamburg city center via Gänsemarkt, Rathausmarkt and Jungfernstieg.
