Puerto Varas, offers a beautiful setting for swimming, especially in the scenic Lake Llanquihue. The lake has a very calm tide. The swimming for this race is done in clean and fresh water, and you will complete the swimming course in one loop completing a course with and L design.Bike course
The road to Ensenada from Puerto Varas by bike offers an unforgettable journey through stunning landscapes of southern Chile. This route, 45 back and forth, is perfect for cyclists who enjoy scenic rides with a mix of lake views, rolling hills, and lush forests. Your journey begins in Puerto Varas, a charming town nestled on the shores of Lake Llanquihue, with magnificent views of the Osorno Volcano. From the town center, you'll head towards Ruta V-69, which takes you out of Puerto Varas and toward the countryside. As you leave the town, you'll quickly be cycling alongside Lake Llanquihue. The road runs close to the lake's edge, providing stunning views of the water on your left and the towering Osorno Volcano on the right. This stretch offers gentle, relatively flat terrain. Running in Puerto Varas is an incredible experience, offering a combination of scenic routes, fresh air, and a variety of terrains. For this race you will combine the running between the city and all its architecture with the views of the lake and Volcano, and also throughout Puerto Vara's Costanera, running very near the lake. This road is mostly flat, with only one hill, and the race will be a 3 loop running race.
