FAST BY THE BLACK SEA IRONMAN 70.3 Mamaia-Constanta, Romania combines the Black Sea coast with a fast and compact race course through Mamaia and Constanta. Athletes begin with a 1.9 km sea swim, followed by a predominantly flat 90 km bike course designed for speed and rhythm. The final 21.1 km run follows the coastline and brings athletes back towards the finish. With a single transition area and a compact race layout, the course offers an ideal setting for a fast race and a potential personal best.

The 1.9 km swim takes place in the Black Sea, with athletes starting their race in the open waters off the coast of Mamaia. The 90 km bike course is a single-loop, flat route designed for fast, consistent riding. Leaving the transition area, athletes head onto wide roads around Mamaia and Constanța, with long sections that allow them to settle into an aerodynamic position and maintain their rhythm throughout the course. The 21.1 km run course is a two-loop, flat route along the promenade, with the Black Sea beside you for much of the race. Athletes can settle into a steady pace while enjoying open coastal views and the support along the course, before returning to the heart of the event for the finish. Course is subject to change.
