Swim course

The one lap swim course of 1.9km starts and ends on Hobie Beach in Summerstrand. Sporting the normal rolling start, athletes will swim on the course in an anti-clockwise direction.

Bike course

The two lap out and back course of 40km is fast and flat, past the NMU Nature Reserve and Cape Recife lookout point up the Noordhoek camp site, where turn around point 1 is situated. Turn around point 2 is situated on Marine Drive, opposite the Boardwalk Mall.

Run course

The run course consists of two laps along the beach front of Humewood. The U-turn at the end of lap 1 is situated just past the Humewood Beach bridge. When athletes get to this same point at the end of lap 2, they will continue on the promenade, past the Hobie Beach pier onto the red carpet and the finish line.
